Date published: 27 September 2016

Members of The Dojo Karate Centre returned from the Unity World Games with a 46 medal haul - 13 golds, 14 silver, and 19 bronze.

The games are for novice classes to black belt across many ages.

Outstanding Dojo performances were from Huseyn Mikayilov, Aditya Roy, Richard Reygan and Ethan Hulse.

Squad coach Sensei Irfan Ansari said: “It goes to show that the hard training our members put into each session really pays dividends.

“Well done to all who competed regardless of winning a medal or not.”
