Basketball: Rochdale Rockets part of GB Masters team that came second in Montenegro

GB Masters Select team playing at last weekend’s Budva - Montenegro 2016 - Masters Basketball Tournament
Alan and Carole Craigen and Simo Banjac from Rochdale Rockets Basketball were part of a GB Masters Select team that came second at last weekend’s Budva - Montenegro 2016 - Masters Basketball Tournament.
GB Masters Select men's team, made of players from UK and Ireland along with the Legendary Ladies Team Pick n Mix, attended the International Basketball event hosted by ZKK Montenegro at Budva - Montenegro’s premier holiday resort.
Simo Banjac, from Rochdale Rockets Basketball, said: “Both GB teams made the finals and immensely enjoyed the weekend on as well as of the basketball court.
“An amazing and interesting place and people, exceptional hospitality and an extra welcome extended to our GB teams for attending for the first time by the organisers and our Montenegro hosts.
“Thank you to the organisers Maja and Co of the ZKK Montenegrine team.”
