2017 squad numbers announced

Rochdale Hornets full squad numbers for the 2017 Kingstone Press Championship campaign have been announced.

New recruit, Miles Greenwood, has been handed the number one shirt whilst Jake Eccleston and Rob Massam take three and five respectively.

New stand-off, Lewis Palfrey, has been named as number six with Gavin Bennion taking the 10 shirt following his move from Halifax in the off season.

Gary Middlehurst has been named at thirteen and Jay Lobwein, Paddy Jones and Luke Fowden take 22, 24 and 25.

Members Meeting

The next members meeting will take place at The Crown Oil Arena on Sunday 11 December from 12:30pm. Members will be able to meet the new General Manager for the first time before an official announcement which will be made by the club in the week following.

There will be a general year review and also a pre-season preview and question and answer session with Head Coach, Alan Kilshaw.

Hornets Rock - 2017 Kit Launch

We want you to join us at The Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale, on 13 December for the launch of our new 2017 home and away shirts. There will also be live music from Rochdale's Idol Frets.

Join a fun filled evening and get your hands on the latest Hornets shirts.

The club is taking pre-orders on the 2017 home and away jerseys now.

Rochdale Hornets Children’s Christmas Party

The annual Rochdale Hornets Children’s Christmas Party will take place on Sunday 11 December following the members meeting. Every child will receive a gift from Father Christmas and there is a special Christmas raffle and the jackpot prize is a brand-new bike.
The festivities will commence around 1:30pm

Coaching Masterclass and Q&A

Rochdale Hornets is hosting a coaching masterclass with Warrington Wolves Head of Rugby and Coaching, Tony Smith. It will take place at The Crown Oil Arena on Wednesday 11 January, 19:00-20:30.

The event is the perfect opportunity for coaches, teachers and supporters at all levels of Rugby League and sport in general to learn from a coach who has won two Super League Grand Final’s and three Challenge Cups during his time coaching in England.

Following the initial seminar, there will also be a Q&A.

This is a free event but donations to the Rochdale Hornets Foundation can be made on the night.

Places are limited and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
