Cricket: Draws made for JW Lees Bitter Wood Cup and Second XI Burton Cup

The draws for the initial stages of the JW Lees Bitter Wood Cup and Second XI Burton Cup competition have been made.

Preliminary Round to be played Saturday 6 May (reserve day Sunday 7 May)

  • Heyside v Uppermill
  • Milnrow v Stayley
  • Royton v Oldham
  • Hollinwood v Shaw
  • Middleton v Micklehurst
  • Moorside v Werneth
  • Monton & Weaste v Ashton
  • Austerlands v Friarmere
  • Byes: eight qualifiers for LCB Cup: Crompton, Littleborough. Greenfield, Glodwick, Norden, Rochdale, Saddleworth, Walsden

Seconnd XI Burton Cup, same fixtures with venues reversed.

First Round to be played Saturday May Saturday 27 May (reserve day Sunday 28 May)

The draw was made at the Greengate Brewery, home of the PCL's sponsors JW Lees Brewery. In attendance were the Brewery chairman, Richard Lees Jones, PCL officals, life members and representatives of clubs.
