Rochdale AFC relaying pitch

Work has started on relaying the Crown Oil Arena ptich
Rochdale Football Club has recognised a rapid decline in the Crown Oil Arena pitch since the end of December, which is not conducive to Dale's style of football.
A decision has been made by the Board of Directors to relay the pitch. This is to ensure the safety of the players and ensure the pitch is at a high standard and quality for the remainder of the season.
Premier Pitches – the UK and Europe’s leading sport turf contractors - has been appointed to carry out the work, and began work earlier this week.
The pitch will be ready for the next home game against Charlton Athletic on Saturday 18 February.
