Hornets extend Danny Bridge loan deal

Date published: 22 February 2017

Rochdale Hornets have taken the option to extend Danny Bridge’s loan deal from Queensland Cup side Redcliffe Dolphins on a week-to-week rolling basis.

Bridge initially joined in the off season on a short term deal whilst he was in the UK resolving visa issues and visiting family. Since then he has featured four times for Hornets.

Alan Kilshaw, Hornets head coach, said: “I’m pleased that we have managed to keep hold of Bridgey for at least the next few weeks. He has been important for us in the opening rounds. He has brought a level of experience having played in Super League and over in the Queensland Cup.”
