Football: Catholic Club 0 - 2 Free Trade Tavern

Free Trade Tavern added to their silverware by beating Catholic Club in the Sun Chemical Trophy Final on Good Friday.

The game started with a fast pace with both sides playing good football and was very even until half time.

The best chance of the first half came Catholic Club's way but they couldn't beat Tom Hill in the Free Trade goal.

Free Trade made changes to the formation in the second half which proved crucial.

The first goal game from good work down the right by Keane. His cross was deaptched by Shaw to put Free Trade one up.

Free Trade started to create more as the game went on, Keane rattling the woodwork on more than one occasion.

The Catholic Club keeper made a good save to deny Free Trade a second before Flaherty picked the ball up in midfield ran at the Catholic Club defence and unleashed a strike into the bottom corner from 25 yards.

Chances for Catholic Club was few and far between and the Free Trade back line kept solid to the final whistle.

The win completes the league and cup double for Free Trade Tavern.
