Rochdale looking to build on midweek win with victory at MK Dons

Date published: 15 September 2017

Rochdale take on MK Dons at Stadium MK in a League One fixture on Saturday looking to build on the midweek win over Doncaster Rovers.

Dale left it very late to pick up their first win of the season with two stoppage time goals from Mark Kitching and Steven Davies sparking wild celebrations.

Dale manager, Keith Hill said: "It will be a difficult game against MK Dons. They are well managed, it is a good football club, and a team that you would expect to be challenging for the Championship."

He added: "There is a lot to play for... and Tuesday night gives us that winning feeling."

MK Dons sit just above Rochdale in the League One table, with seven points from seven games (Dale have six from seven games), and will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat at Peterborough on Tuesday.

MK Dons manager, Robbie Neilson said: “We are not going to win every game but if we suffer a setback, like we did on Tuesday, we need to make sure we respond well by being resilient and putting in a good performance.”
