Team GB skied into second place, with a little help from local skiing sensation Daisi Daniels, during the Trofeu Borrufa International.

Of the 22 countries taking part, England’s children’s team placed second, only behind the hosting nation, Andorra.

The 15-year-old Beech House pupil placed a very impressive second in the Super G and came sixth in the Slalom, both scores contributing towards the overall team position.

The race was Daisi’s sixth GB children's International, having competed at both U14 and U16 levels. She was selected following the British Independent Indoor Ski Championships where she won the U16 age category and was awarded the fastest female.

Daisi also took home two first place prizes in both the Giant Slalom and the Slalom from the Welsh Alpine Championships held in Switzerland between 20 and 27 January.

Daisi would like to thank her sponsors, Beech House School, Fort Vale, H Rigg Properties, Atomic UK and Panda Optics for their continued support.
