Rochdale ski prodigy Daisi Daniels has returned from the Alps with two gold medals after dominating at the Delancey British Children’s Championships, which ran from 3-8 April.

The talented 15-year-old ski racer from Whitworth won gold in the Super G and the Giant Slalom, and narrowly missed the combined and overall by just five points.

These wins add two golds to dynamic Daisi’s exceptional season, which have seen her crowned the Anglo Scottish Slalom Champion, the English Slalom Champion, the English Overall Champion, the British SG Champion, and the British GS Champion, and winning the silver medal in Andorra’s Super G where she represented Great Britain.

Daisi, who says she is “very pleased” with her outstanding performance, is now studying for her GCSEs at Rochdale’s Beech House School and maintaining her strength and stamina with Fielding Fitness to ensure she remains on top in the season in October.

She also thanks her sponsors Atomic UK, Fort Vale, H. Rigg Properties, Panda Optics and Beech House School.
