Rochdale-born England captain Heather Knight was not out for 17 from 11 balls as she helped England produce another dominant performance to win the Vitality IT20 Tri-Series final at Chelmsford.
A flat track and rapid outfield was New Zealand's first to use and they started ominously, reaching 55 inside six overs before Player of the Match Katherine Brunt took two wickets in an over to turn things England's way.
That brought the game back in England's favour and when Sophie Ecclestone - later voted as Player of the Series - clean-bowled Suzie Bates the New Zealand innings lost all momentum.
New Zealand eventually reached 137 and when Tammy Beaumont and Danni Wyatt started positively the target began to shrink rapidly.
Wyatt moved to an enterprising fifty and although she was unable to go on the hosts got there three wickets down with no further drama.
