Interested in joining one of the few remaining Saturday afternoon football leagues?

Date published: 26 March 2014

The Rochdale Online Alliance Football League is looking for clubs interested in joining one of the few remaining localised Saturday afternoon leagues in the North West for the forthcoming season 2014-15.

The expansion of the much wider geographically based Lancashire Amateur and Lancashire & Cheshire Leagues has seen the demise of several historically strong leagues in the North West in the past decade but the Rochdale Online Alliance Football League continues to defy that trend, currently with twenty four teams across two highly competitive divisions.

A league spokesman said: "If you are looking for a high standard of football without a significant travel time commitment then contact the League Secretary at mikewillmore@me.com for further information along with an initial application pack and visit our website at www.rochdalefootball.co.uk"
