Milnrow under 9s top the table

The future is looking bright for Milnrow Cricket Club as the youngest squad at the club won there seventh game, they remain unbeaten and top of the table. 

Thursday 26 June Milnrow beat a strong unbeaten Norden side bringing lots of joy to the young boys and girls of the Milnrow side.

Milnrow has a very talented and experienced first team player, and hero to all the youngsters in the U9s squad, in coach Max Power.

Power is having a great start with his young side with the help of Ben Metcalfe. When asked how he was feeling about how this season is going Power was really pleased and praised all the team, parents and helpers. He said: "We have won seven games in seven and all the boys and girls are doing brilliant. I am very proud of all who train, play and take part and proud of how they progressing. We have a fantastic support network from all the parents and friends with an atmosphere that you couldn't imagine. We have a very bright future ahead of us."
