Amateur boxer, Muavia Nasim, comes out on top after ‘toughest test so far’

Date published: 16 February 2015

Queensway ABC boxer Muavia Nasim was in action on Saturday (14 November) at the Timperley ABC Boxing show in Altrincham.

Nasim made it five out of five and was crowned the winner after what was described as his “toughest test so far”.

Facing off against a southpaw boxer like himself, it was clear from round one that there was only going to be one winner.

This was the first time that Nasim had boxed a southpaw boxer but he didn’t allow this to faze him as he boxed "exactly as he planned" and "listened to
everything he was told".

Queensway ABC Head Coach, David Hodkinson, said: “I don't know who gets more nervous me or my boxers, but when they perform like that it's unbelievable.

“Muavia had fantastic support as well. Thanks to everyone for coming.”
