Date published: 24 March 2015

Oulder Hill Leisure Complex won an award for Second Highest Scoring Mystery Visit 2014 at this year’s Quest Awards, presented at the Quest & NBS Conference in Loughborough.

Quest is the best-known improvement programme within the leisure industry and its rigorous assessments are said to challenge even the very best leisure centres in the UK.

To win the award, Oulder Hill Leisure Complex got a higher score in its mystery visit than all but one of the 600-plus other centre’s that received Quest Plus accreditation last year.

In order to achieve Quest Plus, Oulder Hill Leisure Complex went through a two-year process, with a mystery visit and two-day assessment in year one, and a second mystery visit and one-day review in year two.

Nikki Jackson, TPU Manager said: “We are very proud to receive this award. Quest is a very demanding process so to score so highly in our mystery visit is a fantastic achievement, and really reflects the hard work of our whole team to continually improve the service we offer.”

Quest’s operations director, Caroline Constantine, said:”Congratulations to Oulder Hill Leisure Complex. Receiving the second highest mystery visit score of any centre to go through Quest is an extremely impressive achievement, which amply demonstrates the combined team’s commitment to providing quality facilities and service to its customers.
