Cricket this Saturday at Heywood

Date published: 08 September 2015

Whilst Heywood Cricket Club only have one match remaining this season there are now two games being played this weekend as the club has stepped in to help our friends at Prestwich CC to host their second team match on Saturday.

Prestwich are having significant work carried out to their outfield to ensure it is in great shape for the start of the GMCL season in 2016.

The match is against Glossop, another side that are in the new league next year and we look forward to welcoming both sets of players down at the weekend.

The match starts at 12.30.

Sunday then sees the final CLL match for the club with the first team playing Norden at Bamford Fieldhouse and the second team hosting Norden in the reverse fixture.

After the games there will be a chance to wish Rob Nicol all the best before he flies back to New Zealand the following day and we hope to see plenty of people down at the club.
