Hashum Malik was named as Players Player of the Year when Norden held the annual club presentations on Friday night.

Malik took some vital wickets in the season which saw Stags retain the CLL title. He also won the Hanmer Trophy for best performance in matches against Rochdale, thanks to his 47 not out at Woodhouse Lane.

It was presented to Dean Lord who also won the 2nd X1 bowling trophy. Dean took nine wickets in one second team match, and took the catch for the other wicket.

One of the club’s most prestigious trophies is the Coupe Cup which goes annually to the person recognised as having done most for the club throughout the year.

It went to Anne Schofield who, apart from various other jobs, prepared the players’ teas and teas for spectators on a voluntary basis.

Thomas Booth, a junior player who broke into the second team, won the Derek Parker Trophy for most improved player, and Dan Buckley won the Harold Sibbert Trophy as the best junior player in senior cricket.

Rehan Udwadia won the Bob Tattersall Trophy as best junior fielder in senior cricket, and the Harry Schofield Trophy for the NCC player having won most representative honours during the season.
Rehan played regularly for Lancashire under 15s and also played for North of England.

Rehan also won the Majorca Batting Cup for his 76 not out in a Wood Cup semi-final at Littleborough.

Chris Hartley won the Majorca Bowling Cup for his six-wicket haul in a Lancashire Cup match at Farnworth Social Circle. His six included a hat-trick as he took four in five deliveries.
