John Simpson has stepped down as the Mayfield scorer.
John has been the scorer at Mayfield for 23 years after being involved in the start up and running of the Mayfield Mustangs.
He has decided it is "time to move over now and let somebody else have a go", he said he would have lasted a bit longer but there have been that many points scored at Mayfield this season it has worn him out.
Mayfield Chairman Simon Howe, echoing the sentiments of the rest of the Mayfield committee, said: "We would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to John."
