Lacrosse festival in Rochdale

The North of England Mens Lacrosse Assocation (NEMLA) are holding their annual Lacrosse Flags Festival at Rochdale Lacrosse Club on Bridgefold Road in Rochdale.

The event will run on Saturday 26 April from 10am and Sunday 27 April from 11am, and will feature 10 cup finals with teams from the north of England, ranging from under 12s to Premiership players.

This year's Premiership will be contested between the Wilmslow and Mellor teams on Sunday at 2.30pm.

The festival will also include a tented village, concessions, merchandise and refreshments.

Rochdale Lacrosse Club Chairman Allan Collingwood said: "Rochdale Lacrosse Club anticipates that all participating clubs will have a fantastic weekend and play good Lacrosse. Spectators are welcome to the club, and we hope that new faces, friends and family will all enjoy this special weekend."
