Diamond babes cheer at nationals

Rochdale Cheerleading Teams Dale Diamonds Under 12 Junior Team and Boro Babes Senior Team (ages 13 - 28) took part in the United Kingdom Cheerleading Association (UKCA) Nationals 2008 at the Manchester Velodrome.

Both Teams achieved second place in their category.

Cheerleading coach Tracey Ray, a qualified dance teacher from Rochdale said: "They really deserve the National title - they have worked really hard. Thank you to all the cheerleaders for doing the club and myself proud."

The teams train weekly in dance, gymnastics and stunts at Boro Cheer Cheerleading Club.
