The Christies Charity Fashion Event

Twist night club on Drake Street was the venue for a night of fashion and fun as Norden fashion house, Estilo showcased ladies designer clothing, ranging from casual to stunning evening wear and the fashion students of Hopwood Hall College gave a special catwalk presentation of their own designs.

The audience were also entertained by swing and soul singing star Brendan Decko.

The charity auction of signed memorabilia from Peter Banner Framing on Bury Road raised well over £1000 for Christies.

Organisers Jayne Salford and Chloe Larking said they were delighted with the amount raised and the success of the show.

The Christie Hospital is one of the world’s leading cancer hospitals and treats over 40,000 patients a year.

Without fund-raising events the Christie could not continue to lead the way in cancer care.
