Festival is great for town, says Miss Rochdale

Crowds gathered in full force today (Saturday 14 August 2010) for Rochdale’s Feel Good Festival.

They enjoyed celebrity chefs, fabulous music and lots of sunshine.

A big supporter of the Feel Good Festival, Miss Rochdale, was in attendance to meet and greet the people of Rochdale and engage in the fun filled event.

Miss Rochdale, Frankie Whitworth, was delighted with the turnout.

She said: “I think the Feel Good Festival is brilliant, there are so many people here it’s just great.

“This is the first time I have been and I have really enjoyed it.

“Local festivals are great; this has livened up the town and its fun for all the family during the school holidays.”

Ms Whitworth’s highlight of the day was meeting with celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo.

She added: “Today is great for Rochdale and it is nice to see everyone together having fun.”
