Divas get together for fundraising night

Over one hundred and fifty women gathered at the Norton Grange Hotel on Friday night (10 June) for a fabulous ladies only fundraising evening.
 
‘Diamond Divas’ now in its third year attracted women from across the borough and beyond to help raise much needed funds for two charities.
 
Guests were greeted with a canopies reception served by 13 half dressed men, followed by a three course meal and evening entertainment.
 
Organiser Jean Bennett, said: “The aim is to raise as much money as possible and have a good time doing so.
 
“We have always raised around £4,000 and we are hoping for that this year.
 
“If we get near that we will be over the moon.”
 
The money raised will be split equally between the Parkinson’s Society and the Breast Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
 
The evening was sponsored Vanity Health and Beauty of Rochdale.
