Siddal Moor Inter-House Heywood Foodbank Collection

Date published: 24 December 2015

Each year Siddal Moor holds an inter-house competition to collect food for a very worthy local cause, The Heywood Food Bank at St Joseph's Church.

Moore House students managed to collect the most food items winning the overall competition but more importantly, staff and students, with a lot of help from their families, have managed to collect over 650 food items for the foodbank.

Donations have almost doubled from last year's appeal which is amazing and hopefully they will be put to good use over the festive period.
