Sian Morton chats to thousands through YouTube
Teenager Sian Morton has taken a step towards her goal of a career in film production by producing weekly video blogs on her YouTube channel.
Already she has nearly 14,000 subscribers and her posts have been viewed almost 400,000 times. They even earned her praise from renowned YouTuber Joe Sugg, better known as ThatcherJoe.
Joe has more than five million followers and not only subscribed to Sian’s Sianxy channel, he also gave her a shout out. Sian was so pleased she made a video about it.
“I would like to go into film making,” said Sian, 15, who attends Whitworth Community High School. “I speak to people more on YouTube and Skype than I do my real friends.”
Sian, from Shawclough, makes a new video every week, films and edits it before scheduling it to be broadcast on a Sunday.
On her channels Sianxy and MoreSianxy she happily shares her opinions, thoughts and any funny incidents that have happened during the week.
