Stars of the Week: Jacob Hodkinson, Jordan McKenzie, Nylah O’Connor, Callum Glasgow, Beth Kelly, Bailey Sutcliffe, Jade Holland, Emma Barnes, Rhys Rawstron, Nicole Taylor, Andrew Fall.

Class attendance award went to Mrs Wetton’s Class 8.

Thank you to everyone for donating food and supporting our Harvest Fesitval which was a great success and the food will be distributed to local elderly residents.

Our chosen charity this year will be Children In Need which is held in November and further details will follow.

Along with Aqua-Aid which is the water company who provide our water coolers, Moorhouse has helped sponsor a much needed Well in a village Zimbabwe.

We say goodbye to Joyce O’Brien who has worked at Moorhouse Primary School for 20 years in the roll of dinner lady and after school club assistant and we thank her for her time here at Moorhouse and wish her the very best for the future.

After the half term holiday Moorhouse Kitchen will be offering a packed lunch as an alternative to the regular school dinners and these will be available to view on parents evening which is being held on Wednesday 21 October.
