Tonacliffe Primary School v Newhey Community Primary School
At the recent match against Oxford United, spectators witnessed a fascinating girls only match during the half time break featuring Tonacliffe Primary School and Newhey Community Primary School, with the youngsters from Whitworth emerging 2-0 winners.
Managing the Tonacliffe contingent was Lauren Sutcliffe, who used to attend Dale's popular Saturday Club with her sister and said she could still remember the enjoyable experience.
She now teaches at Tonacliife Primary School and said she thoroughly enjoys her current vocation.
