Pupils find out how radio stations work
Date published: 03 April 2014
Over the past term seven children from Year 6 (Lavender Class) at Heybrook Primary School have been working with Crescent Radio to find out more about how radio stations work.
They wrote and recorded adverts, learnt how to use all the production equipment and then wrote and produced a broadcast that went out live on air.
Saqib, Muazz, Jamila, Jasmina, Radia, Zenab and Rejuana can all now boast to have DJ experience.
They were helped through the course by Ms Northover and Crescent Radio presenter Shanty Begum.
