Top Trumps Tournament

Tegan and our schools Top Trump Champion Goldie from Class 3
The children at St John with St Michael CE Primary School in Shawforth have held their own Top Trumps Tournament.
The club was set up at lunchtimes to encourage the children’s language, mathematical and turn taking skills and it has become a huge success.
They entered the U.K Top Trumps online championships and received free packs of Top Trumps.
Grace Goldie from Class 3 is our school finalist. She has to log her highest scores online.
Miss Kenyon who runs the lunchtime club said: "The children have all showed such a keen interest that they have brought their own Top Trumps from home. These were either gifts or bought from pocket money the children saved up.
“The older children have really encouraged the children from class 2 to take part and help them recognise how to find out the higher scores.
“We will carry the club on into the summer."
