Our recent residential to Aviemore, in Scotland, was a huge success. On many occasions, the children were complimented for their super behaviour, and manners.

The weather was very kind to us and we only had soggy sandwiches once!

Among many visits we enjoyed Stirling Castle, a cruise on Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Loch Ness exhibition, Culloden and the Landmark Centre. The children (and adults) especially enjoyed an evening visit to a working sheepdog farm where we all were able to hold 6 week old puppies!! The children back at school had a full week with a pond dipping trip, a day trip to the Imperial War Museum and a film night. Parents of Year 5 and 6 will be given a presentation assembly on Thursday 26th at 9am.

Year 2 are off to Southport on Wednesday 25 June. Please return slips and money A.S.A.P.

Some of our tennis club students are lucky enough to have tickets for Wimbledon, court 3, on Tuesday 1 July. Lets hope the weather is fine, and the strawberries and cream are flowing!

Reception and Nursery are taking their trip to Smithills Farm on Wednesday 3 July, again please return slips and money A.S.A.P.

KS2 Sports Day is to be held on Monday 7 July weather permitting. It will be moved to Tuesday if not!

On Thursday 10 July members of the Wind Band have been selected to play in the Birmingham Fringe Festival. We have an early start and late finish!

Our Summer Fair is 9 July, a similar format to last year, starting in the afternoon and continuing after school. More details will follow.

Year 6 Oscars Evening will be held on Tuesday 15 July in the school hall. Year 6 will be given more information.

Leavers assembly will be on Friday 18 July, and as usual parents are welcome.
