Next week the Parliamentary Undersecretary Rt Hon Edward Timpson will be visiting Redwood to sample the inclusive sporting opportunities we provide our students. The visit will include the Minister observing hydro activities, a swimming lesson, a rebound therapy session and a trampoline demonstration by Kallum in Y11. This visit highlights the key role Redwood has locally and nationally in Project Ability, Health and Well Being plans and other key initiatives.

4L and 4U have been investigating the effect of ramp angle on the flight time of a skateboard. Initially they designed and constructed their own ramps using paper and card using inspiration from Danny Way. They then modified their ramps using different materials and changed the way they were propelling the skateboard. Then they finally tested the different angled ramps to find out which made Danny Way fly in the air for the longest time.
