Date published: 09 July 2014
Spotland Primary School held their Summer Fair in the school grounds on Tuesday 24 June.
The weather stayed fine and the children enjoyed the bouncy castle and throwing wet sponges at the teachers.
The face painting was very popular with the children and the adults enjoyed the BBQ and the food stalls serving samosas and biryani.
The children said they looked forward to playing the hook a duck and hoopla games and really enjoyed our coconut shy game.
Sue Isherwood, Deputy Headteacher said: A big thank you to all the children, parents and staff for making this such a fabulous Summer Fair at Spotland Primary School.
"The fair was a great success and we made £1625 during the afternoon, for the school fund."
