Hamer Community Primary School

A big thank you to everyone for your contributions towards our ‘ World’s biggest coffee morning’, for MacMillan cancer support we raised £180.

Four of our children will be attending the School Council Event at Ashworth Valley on Wednesday 1 October Miss Mullane and the HLTA team at Hamer have organized the event and 11 schools across the IPLCN will be taking part.

On Thursday 2 October, Miss Holden’s class will be leading the class assembly, it is going to be all about the human body. Hope everyone is looking forward to an interesting assembly.

It has been brought to our attention that children are travelling in cars which are being brought to and from school and they are not wearing their seatbelts. This is very dangerous and you could get a large fine if caught by the police. Please always think about the safety of you and your children whilst travelling in your car. Thank you

The Maths Packs are a really useful learning tool to support maths development at home and are suitable for children of all ages. They will be on sale from Wednesday 1st October from the school office between 9am and 9.30am.

School Uniform Reminder
It has been lovely to see all the children looking very smart in their new uniform. Please be mindful to put the children’s name in everything including their PE Kit. It makes it so much easier for children and staff to sort out on a daily basis. Please remember Hamer girls’ uniform includes black or grey tights ,red ones are not Hamer Uniform. Thank you.
