Tutor Group Globe 4 organised a Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 19 September. Staff and students came to school wearing their jeans for a donation of £1.00 to raise vital funds for young people across the country who suffer from genetic disorders. £587.45 was raised in total.

The winner of the European Day of Languages competition is Aqsa Rana of P6 who will receive a gift voucher. The runners up are: QueensleyIginla O7, TanziyaKouser O3, Shamadiya Das L4, RoksanaWrezsien C10, Natalia Wrezsien C6, AamnahHanif G7, and Aleena Thomas G9 who will each receive a Vivo award. Congraulations to these pupils.

Falinge Park staff took part in the World’s Biggest Cake / Coffee morning on Friday September 26th in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. We are delighted to inform you that staff and students donated a huge total of £408.95!! Many thanks to all who contributed to this worthwhile cause.

All students in Year 7 and Year 11 have been issued with an individual proof photograph from the School Photography Company. If you would like to purchase a photograph of your child you can visit www.schoolphotographs.co.uk or call 01295 250812 for further information.

A Homework Club for pupils from all years will be held in the Heart Space 2.45 to 3.45 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Fridays Homework Club is for Year 7 pupils only. There is an additional Homework Club offered in The Key every afternoon from 2.45 to 3.45 for some of those pupils needing additional support. Both clubs are staffed by our friendly team of mentors and support staff. If your child is struggling to get their homework done, make sure that they come along.
