Project Harar raffle
We will be selling raffle tickets for a hamper kindly donated by Mrs Skilling, Chair of Governors, to raise money for Project Harar. Tickets will be on sale at the harvest festival and for the next two weeks; the draw will take place just before half term.

Interviews for sports leaders will take place this week.

School trip
Classes Da Vinci and Pankhurst will be visiting Eureka, Halifax on Wednesday, 19 November. They will attend a fun show where children explore the very important side of the human body.

Reflection for the week
Spirit of the living God bless the work of our hands, our minds and our hearts.
May the work we offer be a reflection of all that is good within us.

In planning, creating, doing and serving . . . grant us the courage to listen patiently for the stirring of your presence.

Grace us with moments of joy in the midst of our daily routine. Enliven our spirits with humour.

Fill us with reverence for one another and gratitude for our diversity.

Nourish our spirits with the knowledge that our work is holy.

May unity, beauty and truth be the fruit of our labour.

Amen

Help your children to learn
Parents/carers are asked to help children with their learning by listening to them read their books. Please sign their reading log so that teaching staff know when to change their books.

Another very important reminder for admission to primary school: September 2015
Parents/carers of children in our nursery class will have received a letter and application form for primary school places in September. Please ensure that you complete and return the application to the schools admissions team at Rochdale Council before 15 January 2015. Alternatively, applications can be completed online at www.rochdale.gov.uk

If you need help to complete this form, please ask a member of staff in the school office or nursery.

Punctuality
Children should be in school by 8.50am unless they are attending breakfast club which starts at 8am.

Free school meals and pupil premium
Thank you for returning the school meals registration form. It works two ways, firstly to make sure that parents/carers who may be eligible for free school meals receive their entitlement and secondly, the school can claim £1,300 per year for each pupil on free school meals.
