Cross Country Success

Well done to Mr O’Leary and our school cross country team. At the end of the series of race meetings at local school, our team finished in 2nd place out of 10 schools.

In the final race Katie Wilkinson in Y4 finished in 1st place and has done so in every race this season. She can proudly call herself’ Champion of Middleton’ for Y4 Girls.

Friday 24 October Non-Uniform Day

Please send bottles for the Christmas Fair. These can be shampoo, juice, washing up liquid, wine etc – anything that is in a bottle. Please take extra care with glass bottles

PTA Meeting

The next PTA meeting is on Friday 7 November at 3.20pm
in school – everyone is welcome.

Royal British Legion After ½ term we will be selling poppies. Please can we suggest a minimum donation of 20p – thank you.

On 11 November all classes in school will be taking part in a World War One theme day, as an act of remembrance and commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the War.

Christmas Puddings

We have some delicious plum flavoured Christmas Puddings for sale at £5 each. We only have a few left so they will be sold on a ‘first come, first served’ basis at the school office.

School closes at 3.15pm and re-opens on Monday 3rd November at 9am

Attendance Ted was shared by 3P and 5S who both had 100% attendance last week. On Time Ted was shared by 2C and 5T – who had no children late for school – Well Done!
