Oulder Hill Community Christmas Lunch

Date published: 09 December 2014

Oulder Hill will be hosting their third Community Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 17 December.

This has been a fantastic success in previous years, bringing Christmas cheer to all.

Students have nominated family members and friends, and residents from Half Acre House, Meavy View, Passmonds, Oaklands, Leighton House and Ashbourne House will be joining us for a wonderful festive celebration.

Guests will be greeted by students before enjoying a delicious two course meal provided by our Facility and Catering partner Grosvenor FM.

There will be an array of entertainment including the music groups, sing along Christmas Carols, a quiz and a game of bingo.

The Parent Forum will be providing a raffle.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Grosvenor FM, Tesco Community Champion, and of course our Parent Forum for making so many kind donations and for offering to help out on the day. We look forward to another successful event.

Year 11 students completing the IGCSE English course will be assessed on their Individual Speaking presentations between 26 and 29 January 2015, worth 20% of their final grade. Students will receive a personal time and venue for their assessment in due course. Please encourage your son or daughter to use their time wisely and ensure preparation is underway. Thank you, Mr Lynch.

School closes to students at 1:00pm on Friday 19 December for the Christmas holidays. We hope you all have an enjoyable, relaxing break, and we look forward to welcoming all students back to school refreshed and ready to learn on Monday 5 January 2015.
