Date published: 22 April 2015

Sunshine Pre-School has been given a 'good' rating, with outstanding well-being of children during its inspection held at the end of March 2015.

In the inspection report, the Ofsted inspector recognised that “outstanding positive relationships are in place and there is a real sense of community and a quality of care and support in place for children and families.

"Staff are excellent role models, passionate about encouraging children to explore and undertake activities.

“Children behaviour is exemplary and they are very confident and enthusiastic”

“Children enjoy listening to a story and acting out story events. As a result impact of teaching is good and children are making good progress in readiness for future moves”.

Shabina Kauser , Sunshine manager, said: "We are pleased to note that in our report Ofsted inspector said 'staff have a good understanding of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage. There is a good system in place for selection, recruitment and induction, appraisals and supervision. A quality assurance scheme has been completed.'"

Sohail Ahmad, Manager of Deeplish Community Centre projects, said, we are pleased to see a successful inspection with a good outcome rated by Ofsted. As always we are proud in promoting real partnership and support for our future generations in a safe, friendly, trusted and respected environment and parents attending our preschool are really pleased about it."
