Before and After School

Provision In an earlier Newsletter I explained that ‘Happy Days’, who operate after school care at our school, have been given notice to vacate the Community Rooms, which they currently use. School is setting up its own After School Provision beginning on 3 September 2015.

Initially the school provision will be based in the Infant/Small Hall, but once Happy Days have vacated the Community Rooms, will move there.

Many of you have already expressed an interest in using the new school facility and children’s names are on our list. A letter will be posted today to the parents of our new Reception children, and will be given to all children currently in school tomorrow, and on the home page of the school website, inviting applications for this after school care.

The letter will, of course, include details of the hours, costs etc. Places initially are limited to a total of 40 children each day, but parents may request, for instance, three days each week.

The Breakfast Club currently run by school will continue. There are options to sign up for both facilities in tomorrow’s letter. If you are an existing user of the Breakfast Club please make sure that you register your intentions for September, even if you do not wish to use the After School Provision, by returning the form attached to the letter.

Attendance Ted was won by 6M who had 99.3% attendance last week.

On Time Ted was won by 4H - who had no children late for school – Well Done.

Mrs Nixon’s Garden Club has now finished. She would like to thank the ‘Garden Club Ladies’, namely Liz, Viv, Barbara and Sharon for all their help.
