An end of year message from Mr Moore –
This is the end of my first year as Headteacher at Hamer School. I would like to say thank you to all of our Hamer children and families for making me feel so welcome from the very start of the year. I cannot tell you how proud I am to serve your community and to work in partnership with our families to achieve the very best for the amazing children of Hamer. THANK YOU and I am really looking forward to another brilliant year next year.

Just a reminder that Tuesday 21 July is the last day of term and we very much look forward to welcoming the children back into school on Thursday 3 September for the new school year.

Please support us by ensuring that your child is on time and in school every day.

The Citizens of the week for week ending 17 July are the Year 5 &6 for putting together such a wonderful production of Cinderella . Well done on such an entertaining display of Hamer talent.

The Citizens of the Week and the Star of the Week certificates will be given out at the end of the special Eid Celebration Assembly on Monday 20 July at 10.30am. Parents who are able to attend are very welcome to come and join us.

We wish you all a very happy and a very safe school summer holiday. Please can parents remember to refresh your children’s memories about keeping safe when they play out: To look both ways for cars, never be out alone and at the first sign of anything that seems worrying to return home to talk to an adult. It is easy to forget the little things when we are relaxed and having fun but always remember – safety first.
