Date published: 25 July 2015

Green fingered students from Whitworth Community High School have been making a difference in their community.

Nine students have been working with Whitworth Horticultural Society and the local community police to dig and weed flower beds ready for planting shrubs and flowers at The Riverside.

Teachers Jane Ashworth and Vicky Mairs said the students worked really hard as a team and they represented the school in a positive manner.
