Nicola Costello graduated from Huddersfield with a First Class Honours

Nicola Costello has recently graduated from Huddersfield with a First Class Honours from her BSc course in Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors.

The former Falinge Park High School student was originally she was set on a life in music, Nicola rediscovered her passion for textiles and developed her skills and design through weaving in wool.

Through this change in direction from music to textiles she has become one of an elite group of promising young designers selected to display their work at exhibitions in London and Paris.

Exhibiting her designs and constructions at Texprint London. Texprint is an exhibition that is established as a major showcase for young designers. She was one of only 24 UK students to be selected.

Nicola is one of the designers from Texprint who will take the exhibition to Premiere Vision in Paris from the 15 to 17 September. Trade buyers and media commentators will be in attendance, making this a major international showcase.
