Hamer Community Primary School

Once again the generosity of our families has been brought to light. Thank you to all who donated clothes in support of the Bag2School initiative. The generous donations weighed in at 75Kg, which will mean that the school fund will benefit by £30. Well Done.

Thank you to all the children who put themselves forward for the role of Head Girl and Head Boy, to join the school Leadership Team. The candidates were:

Head Girl

  • Komal
  • Ashleigh
  • Insha
  • Umaymah
  • Heena

Head Boy

  • Aman
  • Haroon
  • Sameer
  • Luqmaan
  • Sufyan

All candidates made some very powerful and entertaining speeches to the whole school last Wednesday to gain votes.

After the votes were counted, the successful candidates were announced on Monday 23 as Insha as the Head Girl and Aman was appointed as the Head Boy. Well Done.

We had as usual, a good attendance from parents who made appointments to support the children and discuss their progress and behaviour. If any parents was unable to make an appointment last week please speak to your child’s teacher to make an appointment at a convenient time. Home/School partnership is a major key to success. Thank you.
