Siddal Moor staff and students wear their uniforms in support of the Poppy Appeal
Students and staff at Siddal Moor have showed their support to The Royal British Legion by spending remembrance week raising awareness for the Poppy Appeal.
Members of the Youth Cadet Service arrived to school donning their cadet uniforms with pride.
Likewise, members of staff who are currently serving in the Armed Services also wore their uniform in support of the Poppy Appeal.
Students helped to fundraise by selling poppies, wristbands and badges during their break time as well as visiting form rooms and staff rooms.
Mrs Mulligan, the event organiser said: “I was overwhelmed at the response and would like to thank everyone who participated as well as all the staff and students at the school for their generosity.”
Mr Baker, the head teacher said: “It was fantastic to see our pupils taking part in such a worthwhile cause.”
