Moorhouse Primary School

Date published: 25 November 2015

Our Year 4/5 and 6 football teams played in annual IPLCN competition at soccer factory.

Year 4 won, they were unbeaten throughout the competition. Kian Jones scored a hat trick in the first game against Brimrod. Tyler Berry scored an equalizer in the final before Menaal Rashid saved the decisive penalty.

Year 5/6 put in a superb performance finishing 2nd in their group, advancing to the semi-finals. Nicky Hand scored a hat-trick against Hamer.

Moorhouse were beaten 1-0 by St Andrews in a close game.

Thanks to all the teams who took part. We are proud of you all. A special thanks to Mr Holden and Mrs McPherson for their coaching and refereeing skills.
