Rochdale Parish Church, St Chad’s Church
Sunday, 13 April, is Palm Sunday, beginning of Holy Week leading up to Easter.
Rochdale Parish Church and sister-church St Mary in the Baum have special services through the week.
Sunday, 13 April, Palm Sunday: St Chad’s 8 am Holy Communion and 11 am Morning Service, with dramatised reading of St Matthew’s Passion instead of sermon.
St Mary in the Baum, 9.30 am Sung Eucharist, with Archdeacon Cherry Vann.
Tuesday 15 April St Chad’s 6.30 pm Compline
Wednesday 16 April St Mary’s 10 am Holy Communion
Maundy Thursday 17 April St Mary’s 11.30 am
Holy Communion St Chad’s 10 am Holy Communion, 7.30 pm Holy Communion followed
by The Watch until 10 pm.
Good Friday 18 April St Chad’s 10 am Good Friday Liturgy, 2-3 pm Vigil with readings and music.
St Mary’s 2pm Prayers and hymns.
Easter Sunday 20 April St Chad’s 8 am Holy Communion, 11 am Choral Eucharist.
St Mary’s 9.30 am Sung Eucharist.
