St George's Night Concert

St Andrew's, Dearnley and Smithy Bridge
St Andrew's Church, Dearnley celebrate St George this coming Saturday evening, April 26, with a St George's Night concert in church, doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
It will be led by Littleborough Brass Band and tickets on the door, at £8, will include meat and potato pie supper.
Newcomers to church will be able to look at our newly extended and refurbished parish room which is now open for hire for meetings or other functions.
We charge £15 for the first hour and £10 for each subsequent hour. To book, or for further information, please contact Debbie Ashton on 0790 958 7591.
To join Little Angels, a pre-school Stay and Play project which we hold in the parish room on Mondays between 9.30am and 11.30am contact Chrissie on 07763 749 452.
Sunday's parish rota (Sung Eucharist at 9.30am) is: lay assistants, J Paterson, J Coomer; readers, I Larder, R Larder; Intercessions, W Foote; sidespersons, G Kilaptrick M Sheridan; refreshments, Jean, Maureen, Edna.
From May 1, the relief sidesperson is Dorothy Knight (tel: 379665). Anyone on the rota for sidespersons and wishing to make a change should contact Dorothy.
