Wardle village church
This week is Christian Aid Week, an organisation which strives for a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty, providing urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great.
Christian Aid tackles the effects of poverty as well as its root causes and to this end volunteer collectors will be giving out and receiving the envelopes throughout the village.
This Sunday Rev Canon Sharon Jones with Rev Mike Howarth will be leading our Communion Service at 11.00am. Everyone welcome.
As usual this week our well established Baby and Toddler Group will be open on Monday and Wednesday from 9.30am- Noon. Activities, songs and refreshments together with Sure Start on a Wednesday, all for £1 for adults and 50p for children.
On Tuesday 13 May from 12.30pm-2.00pm we will be having our monthly "Soup and a Roll". All delicious and home-made but come early to avoid disappointment.
Slimming World continues on a Thursday at 10.00am, 5.30 pm and 7.30pm phone Rebecca for more details on 077388052984.
