We  have a special service at St Andrew's at 7.30pm on Wednesday, 10 December when Bishop Mark Davies will celebrate an Advent Eucharist for the whole of the Rochdale Deanery.

This will provide time for reflection and prayer, especially for the sick and those who need to be healed.

Canon Chris Bracegirdle will be the preacher.

We also have Sung Eucharist at 9.30am this Sunday, 7 December when the following will be 'on duty': lay assistants, CAshton, SJ/MH; readers, P Shrigley, J Mills; Intercessions, R Polley; sidespersons, P Shrigley, B Kelly; refreshments, Elizabeth, Gillian J, Joan.

On Sunday afternoon the 'Mince Pie Special' leaves Littleborough Station shortly after 1pm and anyone from church is invited to join the St Andrew's contingent for carol singing both on the station and on the train.

Last Sunday we met Alison Clissold for the first time, Alison is from the church of All Saints and Martyrs at Langley, who has joined us on placement and will be with us until Easter while training for ordination.
