Date published: 05 January 2015

St Andrew’s, Dearnley social club committee are breaking new ground on Saturday, 7 February when it stages, in church, a jazz concert led by the popular and locally-based Little Jazz Funk Orchestra.

Doors will open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start and an exciting evening of jazz is lined up with music from the 40s, 50s and 60s performed by the Littleborough-based orchestra and its band leader, Stephen Lord.

All are welcome and tickets at £7 include hot supper and licensed pay bar and can be purchased from Ada, who can be contacted on 01706 536143 or on 07854 703 426.

Lord and his musicians recently did a concert in conjunction with Littleborough Band which was later acclaimed on social media by ‘funky’ followers as a great success and one that should ensure a good turn-out at St Andrew’s.
